History of Labor Day

Labor Day is one that most of use to enjoy a cook-out, family, and friends. I thought we would spend the month of September researching the history of labor in the United States.

The holiday is enjoyed by most of us but it came at the expense of those laborers who went before us.


Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country. Click here to read this interesting article.
