Elizabeth Cady Stanton

Elizabeth Cady Stanton is this week’s person in history. She worked hard at the process of gaining the write for women to vote. She died before that privilege was given to  women. She and her husband also devoted much of their time in the fight against slavery.

Elizabeth Cady Stanton was a primary architect of the suffrage movement, organizer of the 1848 women’s rights convention in Seneca Falls, New York, and the colleague and friend of Susan B. Anthony. Click hereto read more.
