Exploring Sunken Ships

For you adventurous types, diving to the bottom of a lake, ocean, or even river looking for sunken treasure is a fun thing. It would also be an intriguing idea to have a character in a fiction story do the same thing. This article is educational and informative about an old ship.


There is something incredibly intoxicating about the idea of diving into a ship left abandoned on the floor of the ocean.

Explorer Barry Clifford recently discovered the ruins of the Santa Maria, the long lost ship of Christopher Columbus, off the coast of Haiti.
