Christmas Inn, Colorado

Christmas Inn, 1881: Matthew White returns to the hotel where he and his wife spent their honeymoon. She has been gone nearly a year, and he cannot think of living without her any longer. Planning to end his life on Christmas Day, he is horrified to learn that the old hotel has been sold and will be torn down in the new year. He vows to do what he can to stop this from happening. Edith Cochrane, a lonely widow with money-grabbing children, seeks a quiet place to make some difficult decisions for her future. Will she live with one of her children and give up all hopes for any independence, or will she strike out on her own and live her life as long as she is able? Can a depressed widower and a confused widow find the real reason for the season in a small-town setting in Colorado? Or will they succumb to outside pressures and a murderer who has managed to hide his secret for over 50 years?
